Rise Up Fearless Overcomers

by Ron Ross

Why are we afraid? There is no room for fear in the life of an Overcomer. This is an ageless truth...most Christians are well aware that there is nothing to fear and that our Father has not given us the spirit of fear! Yet we continually get sucked into the vacuum created by fear.

Maybe we believe the report of the world more than Papa's promises in the Word? Could it be that we allow our ear, eye and heart gates to be penetrated by the insidious lies of religion, media and public opinion? Could it be that we don't heed the warning of scripture..."set no unholy thing before your eyes?" That is certainly a warning concerning the plethora of media outlets we feast on daily!

Never before has there been such an assault of fear on the senses of man. The fear-mongers rage 24/7. They spout "fear" with no room for hope! Maybe our focus needs daily, even moment by moment adjustment? "Perfect love" must be what we set before our eyes, ears and heart. Perfect love casts out all fear!

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may KNOW the HOPE to which he has called you...I ask--ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of Glory--to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so the you can see exactly what it is e is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for Christians, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who TRUST HIM--endless energy, boundless strength.

All this energy issues from Christ. God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, IN CHARGE OF RUNNING THE UNIVERSE, everything from galaxies to government, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but FOREVER. HE IS IN CHARGE OF IT ALL, has the final word on everything." Ephesians 1

It will take all of our focus for all eternity to take that in-we don't have space or time for any other report! Soak in the prophetic song I have attached. Fear will run away! Hope will come to stay! By the way, I am writing to myself before you...

In the grip of perfect love! Ron Ross
