It' Time to Party

"There is nothing for God to do."It is finished." There is nothing for you to do."It is finished." Christ need not bleed. "It is finished." You need not weep."It is finished." God the Holy Spirit need not delay because of your unworthiness, nor need you delay because of your helplessness. "It is finished." Every stumbling block is rolled out of the road; every gate is opened... The bars of brass are broken; the gates of iron are burst asunder. "It is finished." Come and welcome; come ad welcome!" (Charles Spurgeon)

Therefore; it is now and forever more time to party! Of course, we will respectfully party with the correct amount of political and religious awe and reverence. NO! Holy Spirit led awe and reverence leads to one thing only--finished and secured Salvation! Our future, past and present are all wrapped up in His glorious Victory.

Freedom is not just a nice word or a theological concept! NO! Freedom is a person: Jesus Christ! His freedom calls forth and prepares for you and me His lifestyle. And His Victorious lifestyle is the heart of His Kingdom culture! Ring out the wild Bells! Enjoy the Victory party! And by the way, there never has been a struggle or battle between God and Satan. Satan has always been subject to Papa's Glorious Sovereign plan of the ages.

And that plan has always been to bring many sons and daughters to the Glory of His loving plan! Yea God! You rock, rock of the Ages. This is the only plan that brings Papa glory and divine enjoyment.

"One of the tragedies of our life is that we keep forgetting who we are.” (Henri Nouwen)  Fix your eyes on the Cross and the Grave! That will jog your memory!

Galatians 6
14-16 For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!
17 Quite frankly, I don’t want to be bothered anymore by these disputes. I have far more important things to do—the serious living of this faith. I bear in my body scars from my service to Jesus.
18 May what our Master Jesus Christ gives freely be deeply and personally yours, my friends. Oh, yes!

Father, today is the day that we focus on the one event that brought us to you, the crucifixion of Christ, your Son. I cannot imagine what he went through on the cross, so I could know you, and be known by you. I also cannot imagine what you experienced that day as you watched your son make the absolute greatest sacrifice in history. Help me to focus on what was ransomed that day. Help me to know your love and grace. I cannot say thank you enough! I pray all these things in the precious name of our Savior, Jesus.

The Likeness of Jesus

Jesus is the exact representation of His Father-the exact likeness! "The Son radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character of God." Jesus said of himself, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father." We share in His representation of Father! Can it been said of us, when the world looks at us, they have seen Jesus?
But there’s more. The most amazing truth in the history of mankind is that we have the implanted Holy seed, DNA, Impartation and thus Destiny to become the exact likeness of Jesus! When we see Him face to face we shall be like Him perfectly! “Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.” (1 John3:2, ESV)
Remember this next week, (Easter week) the price that was paid by that very same Jesus to grace gift us with His Holy in dwelling presence and likeness! “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” (Romans 6:5, ESV)
Absolutely mind blowing, heart-opening incredible! Ron Ross

What's Trendig vs. Who's Sending

What’s Trending vs, Who’s Sending

Enjoy Jesus in and through you today!
It’s not what’s “trending” that matters today, no, it’s who is “sending”! Only Jesus is trending with His sending-”Go and make disciples of all nations”!
Our life in Jesus is the only thing that matters eternally. The world’s culture is seductive, but don’t let it pull you down to it’s level of immaturity! We are called to create Kingdom culture! Kingdom culture, when truly seen and experienced will win all other cultures of men, Kingdom culture is truly attractive and unique. It “trends” through the ages with the splendor and Glory of it’s King, Jesus! When the culture around you truly see’s us loving one another the way Jesus loves us, everything else will pale in comparison. We are the light and salt of the world, not the Harlem shake or social media!Image
Show forth the resplendent light of Jesus’ love and whet the world’s taste buds with grace, mercy, freedom and truth.
Just a thought for your consideration-chew on it! Ron Ross

Knowing and Being Known

You can't be lost without first truly belonging! Our belonging trumps any lostness we have ever experienced! As bearers of the image and likeness of God, we are always invited into the depths of His searching and finding. I desire to fully know and be fully known! The story of Easter beckons us afresh into knowing Him as The Son of Man. As Son of Man he gave His life for the world; establishing for all ages (past, present and future) our life in Him. As Son of Man he finds us in our lostness and brings us to the knowing of Him as our Savior, Sacrificial Lamb, Head of the Church, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Coming Groom and Great High Priest!

Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger, Christ in the hearts of all that love him, Christ in friends, enemies, strangers and all nations, tribes and tongues! (Adapted from St. Patrick)

“God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand. 2 I'm an open book to you; even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking. 3 You know when I leave and when I get back; I'm never out of your sight. 4 You know everything I'm going to say before I start the first sentence. 5 I look behind me and you're there, then up ahead and you're there, too - your reassuring presence, coming and going. 6 This is too much, too wonderful - I can't take it all in!

7 Is there any place I can go to avoid your Spirit? (Is there any place) to be out of your sight? 8 If I climb to the sky, you're there! If I go underground, you're there! 9 If I flew on morning's wings to the far western horizon, 10 you’d find me in a minute - you're already there waiting! 11 Then I said to myself, "Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I'm immersed in the light!" 12 It's a fact: darkness isn't dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they're all the same to you.

13 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. 14 I thank you, High God - you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration - what a creation! 15 You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; you know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. 16 Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day. 17 Your thoughts - how rare, how beautiful! God, I'll never comprehend them! 18 I couldn't even begin to count them - any more than I could count the sand of the sea. Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!” (Psalm 139: 1-18, Msg)

May we know as we are known, perfectly in His D.N.A. (divine nature added)! Ron Ross

Fierce Faith

Each of us has a significant part to play in God's plan of Redemption! And it is not a 'bit' part or role! It is a call to "fight the good fight of faith." Preparation is critical; even non-negotiable. More than Moses have sheepishly argued with "God-The Director" saying; "God you have the wrong man." As we present our case before God, revelation begins to open our eyes as to why we might, in fact, be the best choice for the part!

"Look, God, your God, has placed this land as a gift before you. Go ahead and take it now. God, the God-of-Your-Fathers, promised it to you. Don't be afraid. Don't lose heart." (Deuteronomy 1:21, Msg)

The land is now a relationship placed before us as a gift. This relationship with his/our Father provides the same security Jesus has enjoyed with Heavenly Father for all eternity. Within the embrace of this intimacy we can now be diligent and fearless in our faith journey!

7 Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don't get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you're going.8 And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed.9 Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take."  (Joshua 1:7-9, Msg)

As we take the land, Jesus reveals that we pre-existed in His Father; He defines us. He justified us and also glorified us. He redeemed our innocence and restored the glory we lost in Adam's fall. What further ground can there possibly be to condemn us?

In His death he faced our judgment; in His resurrection he declares our innocence; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the throne room of God.

What would (could) it take to distance us from the love of Christ? You name any potential calamity; intense pressure of the worst possible kind, cluster-phobia, persecution, destitution, loneliness, extreme exposure, life-threatening danger or war? His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught. (Adapted from verses in Romans 8)

Throw caution, fear and religious inhibitions to the wind of Holy Spirit and embrace His passionate draw, pulling you closer to His heart than you ever imagined was possible!
As the previous waves come crashing on the shore of your faith journey, be pulled by the overwhelming undertow of His great love and be ready to ride the next waves of Glory! Ron
